Kosana Studio is an interior design service based in Rotterdam, specializing in residential interiors in the Netherlands and globally for private clients, business owners and developers. Our approach is based on close personal collaboration with customers in all phases of the interior design process, always striving to exceed the expectations of our clients.
The architectural and urban planning background enables Kosana Studio to understand the technical aspects and broader context of each project creating interiors that work harmoniously with the architectural design as well as with the surrounding environment.
In addition to aesthetics, functionality, and comfort, Kosana Studio places a special focus on creating perfectly balanced interior designs for every client.
Our work carefully considers personal needs and tastes of our clients not only through exploring the key interior design components such as light, color and texture, but also through understanding the architectural space and exterior. We aim to create a feeling of authenticity within each property by creating a unique interior design that is true to both the location and the people who will make it their home.

About me
Hi! I am Kosana, the founder of Kosana Studio, an interior designer who studied architecture at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia and University of Limerick, Ireland.
Before coming to the Netherlands, I moved a lot. Although it was not always easy to be an expat in a new place, I always managed to overcome it by bringing something from my previous life into my home design while respecting the new environment and lifestyle. Through this experience, I learned that through my design I can also help others who want to embrace their roots too. I often include my passion for different cultures, craftsmanship and fairytales in the creation of some magical places.
Due to several years spent in the travel and accommodation industry, I have had the opportunity to work with the owners of many beautifully designed long and short term rental properties, so today I equally enjoy designing homes that can help people become even more successful in their property rental businesses.
Oh yes, I'm also an urban planner! I hold a Master of Science degree in Geo Information Science and Earth Observation in the field of Urban Planning and Management, from the University of Enschede, the Netherlands.
My belief is that the planning of cities, communities, buildings, and interiors is founded on the same principles - it must be achievable, based on a good strategy and quality design.
